My Lived Experience

My lived and remembered experience has shaped my understanding of how the world truly works. It’s shown me, with striking clarity, that there’s far too much I don’t know to claim certainty about the Big Picture. I don’t mind speculating—after all, it’s a deeply mysterious subject. What I have come to see is that much of what I was taught to believe as truth is a web of lies— always being spun & promoted. It doesn’t serve my interests to live the way the lies say to. It’s hard to shake free of it – the facade & character of a human you were raised to be. It’s a process.

I’ve seen the systemic corruption that isn’t an exception but the rule. We live in a structure or system that incentivizes corruption. Humans have little choice but to compromise health/right action to fit in and survive.

I’ve seen it firsthand in Major corporations, the judicial system, and science. I’ve witnessed individuals acting it out. I’ve done it. It is fundamental. I put up with it in all the instances I have because to do otherwise was dangerous. It’s unlikely you’ll be successful or make a lot of money. You’ll also be systematically marginalized.

Where there is power, there is corruption. All systems like this end in destruction and suffering.

We’re all led to compromise in this life. I’m always hoping more people decide to do it a lot less.

As always, the path of learning has opened my eyes. As a result, I’ve changed. My patterns have changed. My life has changed. It’s not easier. But it’s more interesting. I’m marginalized, and I don’t have a lot of money, but overall, life is better.
