Art For Sale

I’ve opened a new Etsy Store. In between tending my garden and canning food from it, I’m listing available artworks.

My Etsy Store

This is good for me….it allows secure payments and handles many of the “sales logistics”. I can shut it down when I go into nomad mode and am unable to do shipping.

I practice minimalism in my life. I don’t want to possess a lot of stuff. I try to keep things to a level of “just what is essential”. I love my art….I love the creation process, but I don’t want to keep it. I want to send it out into the world. I want it to live in someone’s space and help to make it a home. To bring loveliness, color, and creativity to others.

I also have a mind to earn some $$ to buy a few things I need and recharge my savings after my old truck recently cost me around $2000 for an injector problem.

A few words about my feelings on money and earning money……

I’m often conflicted about it.

The entire money system feels corrupted to me—built on control, manipulation, and unnatural incentives.

I see how it changes people, distorts values, and often rewards behavior that seems to be guiding the world towards things that aren’t very good.

There’s something fundamentally off about how it influences life, and I feel uneasy being part of it… even though I don’t have much of a choice.

Somehow in my life, I’ve always had enough. Enough for healthy food, for fuel in my tanks, a roof over my head, and for goods & experiences that help me achieve well-being. For this, I’m immensely grateful.

I’ve often felt the tug of desire for nice things that I see on offer in this world. It was greater when I was younger & more under the influence of the culture. But I’ve never felt very ambitious to gain a lot of money. It seemed to me this usually came with a lot of compromises I didn’t feel good about. Luckily, I’ve realized I don’t need much to be satisfied and happy with life. Most important to me is maintaining my health and freedom.

If you’re moved to purchase my art….I’m honored and humbled first of all. Secondly, you are helping my little family stay healthy and free.

THANK YOU.
