Grey skies. Rain. Cool temps. That was today.
Dave made a fire. Warm house.
Also, I painted for several hours. Skulls. That’s what I’m painting. A deer and a goat.
Outside for a walk. I’m thankful I have clothes that keep me comfortable in this weather. The walk is pleasant and outdoor time is so good for my well-being.
The Nikon DSLR camera is broke.
Fixing the camera may cost more than it’s worth….but a replacement is five times the repair cost. So, for the time being, I’ll be using a smartphone to snap pics. Camera situation: Pending.
Dave and I began cutting limbs from a dead tree behind the house. Taking it down is a big job that won’t be happening in one sitting. Dave’s pace is slow. His physical health is not good.
We ran out of green coffee beans. I ordered more but the shipping is taking longer. Drinking store coffee is bleaaa…. I hope tomorrow the beans arrive in the mail.
I had a meltdown the other day. Just felt really down in the dumps. Couldn’t seem to get my mind off all the crappy things. Stuff in my immediate world and humanity at large.
Christmas is just weird. But I’m looking forward to making a fancy dessert to share at the family gathering.
